Events and Public Awareness Initiatives
The Dalit Bahujan Resource Centre (DBRC) organizes a wide range of events and public awareness programmes to promote social justice, constitutional values, human rights, and inclusive development. The organisation commemorates important national and international observances such as Independence Day, Republic Day, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Jayanti, the International Day of Non-Violence, Human Rights Day, World Environment Day, World Water Day, and International Day of Persons with Disabilities. These events serve as platforms to educate communities, encourage civic participation, and highlight issues affecting SC, ST, Denotified, and other marginalized communities.
In addition to commemorative events, DBRC conducts photo exhibitions, awareness campaigns, sapling plantation drives, exposure visits, community dialogues, and cultural programmes that foster learning, engagement, and collective action. Through these initiatives, the organisation raises public awareness about the rights, contributions, challenges, and aspirations of marginalized communities while promoting environmental stewardship, social inclusion, and community-led development.
