Prevention of Violence & Discrimination
DBRC is committed to building a society where every individual can live with dignity, equality, and freedom from violence and discrimination. The organisation works to strengthen the social status of women and marginalized communities, reduce factors that increase vulnerability, and promote peaceful and inclusive communities. Through awareness campaigns, rights education, and capacity-building programmes, DBRC promotes constitutional values and safeguards, enabling Dalit, Adivasi, Denotified, and other marginalized communities to understand, claim, and defend their rights.
To address violence and discrimination effectively, DBRC collaborates closely with law-enforcement agencies, government institutions, and civil society partners to improve sensitivity, accountability, and timely response to cases of atrocities and injustice. The organisation provides holistic support to survivors, including legal aid, financial assistance, counselling, and psychosocial care. Through community education, leadership development, and efforts to challenge harmful stereotypes and social exclusion, DBRC works towards creating a just, equitable, and violence-free society where all people can participate fully and confidently in social, economic, and public life.
